Introduction - Story of Mr.Immanuel.
Immanuel is a diabetic and follows a low-carb diet. He has seen improvement in his blood glucose levels when following a low carb diet. This video is to understand the advantages of low carb diet, and if you're diabetic, please look below for the precautions to be taken before you follow a low carb diet.
1) Let your doctor know that you're following a low carb diet - Most people see improvement in their blood glucose levels. Some may notice a rise in fasting blood glucose after being on a deficient carb diet.
2) Based on the blood glucose levels the doctor will suggest to increase or reduce the medicine. Do not stop taking your medications/insulin without Doctor's suggestions.
3) There may be certain food deficiencies that you may develop when following a low carb diet, consult a dietician to avoid these deficiencies
4) You may develop specific side effects with a low carb diet which includes fatigue, brain fog, headaches, constipation. Consult a doctor and dietician to guide you through these side effects and ways to overcome it.
